Ministry Events
Many families face loss, fear, and confusion during hard times. Others have never seen a Bible in their own language. Churches and missionaries often struggle to meet these needs on their own. At Sonrise New Testament Ministries, our events help bring hope, truth, and support to people in real situations.
We step into these moments with care. We work alongside ministries to share God’s Word, support communities, and help people grow in faith.

2018 Events
We were honored to partner with Operation Pre-Born. This ministry provides live ultrasounds for women who are considering abortion. Over 100 clinics across the nation offer this service. Many families choose life after seeing the ultrasound, and they are guided through salvation and discipleship.
We provided about 3,000 New Testaments to support their witnessing and discipling efforts. We thank our donors for their financial support and Operation Pre-Born for allowing us to serve together.
2017 Events
This year brought a destructive hurricane season. Houston and Southeast Texas were heavily affected by Hurricane Harvey. Florida and Puerto Rico were also impacted by Hurricane Irma.
We partnered with Southern Baptist Men of Texas to provide over 10,000 English and Spanish New Testaments and more than 10,000 disaster Gospel tracts. These were used to minister to people affected by the storms.
We also worked with Southern Florida Baptist Disaster Relief. We provided over 10,000 Spanish New Testaments and more than 10,000 Gospel tracts. These supported Puerto Rico resettlement, new church starts in Florida, and direct outreach on the island.
Earlier in the year, we supported Vision Ministries of Azle in Belize. We provided about 3,000 English and Spanish New Testaments and Bibles for evangelism and church planting. New pastors received full Bibles to guide their congregations.
We also partnered with Southern Baptist Men Disaster Relief during the West Texas wildfires, which burned over 10,000 acres and destroyed homes and ranches. New Testaments were given to families who experienced total loss.

Grace Bridge Ministries
Ugandan New Testaments for Evangelism Explosion
We partnered with Go Ministries to support Evangelism Explosion training in Uganda. We provided 125 New Testaments in the Ugandan language. These were given to trained believers who completed the program. Many of them would not have had access to a New Testament without this support. We thank our ministry supporters for making this possible.
2015 Events
Redeemed Ministries
We were honored to partner with Redeemed Ministries. This ministry serves victims of human trafficking by building relationships and providing temporary housing. We provided English and Mandarin New Testaments so individuals could receive God’s Word in their native language. We look forward to growing this partnership.
Spanish New Testaments for South America
We partnered again with Vision Ministries of Azle to provide 400 Spanish New Testaments for evangelism work in South America. The need for God’s Word in this region remains great.
2014 Events
Kenyan Bibles for Seminary Graduates
We worked with Go Ministries to provide about 100 Bibles for seminary graduates in Kenya. These pastors often lack access to Bibles. With these resources, they can prepare sermons at home, spend more time in local evangelism, and be present with their families.
Ugandan New Testaments for Evangelism Explosion
We continued our partnership with Go Ministries by providing 125 New Testaments in the Ugandan language for Evangelism Explosion training. Graduates received these after completing the program, giving them the tools to continue ministry work.
Lakota Indian Nation Missions and Education
We partnered with First Baptist Church of Eagle Butte, South Dakota, Global Recordings Network, and local schools. Vacation Bible Schools were held on Lakota land. The Lakota language is nearly extinct, but this effort helped preserve it.
We provided Lakota and English materials that share the life of Jesus. Children learned about Christ, preserved their native language, and grew in reading skills. This work brings great praise to the Lord.
2013 Events
Navajo Language Bibles
We supported a mission project in New Mexico with the Navajo Nation. Vision Ministries of Azle built traditional homes and hosted Vacation Bible Schools. Ministry leaders shared the Gospel with tribal councils and families.
We provided about 100 Navajo language Bibles. These helped families learn about Jesus in their own language and strengthened local outreach efforts.
South American Evangelism
We partnered with Vision Ministries of Azle to provide 150 Spanish New Testaments for outreach in South America. Due to safety concerns, details remain limited. The need for God’s Word remains strong, and we continue to pray for these workers.
